Ines Teresa Hortensia Flouret

Ines Teresa Hortensia Flouret (born September 1, 1926 in Deán Funes , Córdoba province , † 2009) was an Argentine diplomat .

Life

She was accepted into the foreign service in 1952 as the first woman to study diplomacy at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario . In 1968 she was chargé d'affaires at UNESCO in Paris . In the late 1980s she was ambassador to Norway , as well as embassy secretary, chargé d'affaires at UN headquarters . From 1986 to 1989 she was ambassador to New Delhi and accredited to the governments in Sri Lanka .

In the private sector, she was a shareholder in the El Carmen broadcaster and a license holder of Canal 2 . She was buried in the Cementerio Parque Memorial en Pablo Nogués , Buenos Aires .
