After some fighting, the division had to move. a to Schievelbein and as part of the provisional corps group from Tettau (together with the Bärwalde infantry division ) to retreat to the Dievenow bridgehead and secure it for withdrawing German units. At the beginning of the division's front service, the von Tettau corps group was assigned to the 11th SS Panzer Army , and from March to the 3rd Panzer Army .
In March 1945 it was moved to the Rehberg area . Due to its strong decimation in previous battles with the Red Army , the association was dissolved on March 13, 1945 near Rehberg.
