Infernal is a third-person shooter for Windows and Xbox 360 , developed by the Polish studio Metropolis Software and published in 2007 by Eidos Interactive .

action

There is war on earth between the forces of evil and the hosts of heaven. Ryan Lennox, a former heavenly faction agent, is unceremoniously dismissed from his service because he does not want to give up his vices. Now the other side hires him. According to this, the heavenly faction plans to use a machine that can manipulate people's thoughts. This would not only give the heavenly powers control over people, but also the end of evil. So Ryan gets the job of finding the machine and destroying it.

Gameplay

With the support of "Black", his client, Ryan releases undreamt-of powers during the game, such as teleportation or telekinesis , which are sometimes used for smaller puzzles. If the mana reserves run low, there are also various handguns with which you can shoot your way free. Mana can be recharged by sucking energy from dead bodies. The scenarios are varied, there are both indoor and outdoor levels, which have been beautifully staged. Enemies take cover and call for reinforcements, so they are not easy targets.
