Inge List
Inge List (born Ingeborg Kathrin List on August 14, 1916 in Salzburg ; † January 20, 2003 in Los Angeles , United States ) was an Austrian actress .
Life
After completing her acting training, she made her stage debut in Vienna at the Theater in der Josefstadt . Here she was discovered by Reinhold Schünzel for the film, where she was given leading roles several times.
In I love all women she was, alongside Lien Deyers, one of the two partners of Jan Kiepura , who appears in a double role , in The Emperor's Candlesticks she embodied a thieving maid. In her last film It began so harmlessly , she had Johannes Heesters as a partner.
On May 29, 1947, she married the American Leonard E. Nelson in Vienna and emigrated with him in July 1948 to the USA.
