Ingeborg Rinke

Ingeborg "Inge" Rinke (born March 4, 1952 in Villach as Ingeborg Wallnberger ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and was mayor of the city of Krems an der Donau from 2007 to 2012. In addition, she was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 2003 to 2013 .

Life

After primary school, Rinke attended the AHS lower level and left her hometown Villach at the age of 18. She worked professionally as a photographer and office clerk. She was elected to the municipal council of Krems an der Donau in 1992 and held the office of First Vice Mayor between 1997 and 2003. From November 5, 2007 to October 7, 2012 she was mayor of Krems. Rinke also held the position of district manager of the ÖVP women and represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament since April 24, 2003. She left the state parliament on April 24, 2013.
