Andreas Ritschard (born March 7, 1979 ), called Ritschi , is a Swiss musician from Interlaken and singer of the band Plüsch .

Live and act

Ritschard completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter from 1997 to 2001. At the same time, he and four other musicians founded the dialect pop band Plüsch (then still VIP ) in 1997 . He is the singer and lyricist of the band. In 2005 he undertook projects without plush for the first time and sang the song Du seisch with the singer Sina for her album All: Tag .

After the third band album in 2006, two band members decided to take a break to concentrate on their professional development. Ritschi used this break in the band to realize solo projects. In addition to song recordings with Bligg , Adrian Stern and the Swiss Jazz Orchestra , he also wrote texts for a film soundtrack and, together with Stern, music for a children's musical.

In 2009 his solo album Probier mi noch mal us was released , which just barely missed number 1 on the Swiss charts when it was released and reached gold status. The single Schisstäg also reached number 14 and he was able to seamlessly build on the success of the band Plüsch.

In June 2009 he recorded the benefit single Stahn uf together with other well-known Swiss musicians . The reason for this was the revocation of the license for the Energy Zurich radio station , but the proceeds were intended to support young Swiss artists. The single entered the charts at number 1 .

Then five years passed before Ritschi's second solo album. In March 2014, Öpfelboum u Palme entered the Swiss album charts at number 1 .

In 2020 he took part in the first season of Sing my Song - The Swiss Exchange Concert .
