Plüsch is a Swiss band from Interlaken . The band is assigned to the dialect pop / rock .
history
Plüsch was founded by Andreas Ritschard (vocals), Roger Meier (guitar), Simon Ryf (bass), Alexander Balajew (drums) and Andreas Hunziker (keyboard), who all knew each other from school. Before their current name “Plüsch” they were with the band name “VIP” and played among other things in the opening act for Gölä . Her catchy tunes emerged from a mixture of rock , jazz , funk and soul . Her ballads like Irgendeinisch , Ufo , but also faster songs like Schwein gha are most successful . Her most successful hit is Homesickness .
The breakthrough came with their first album Plüsch , with which they received the Prix Walo . In 2004 their second album, Sidefiin , was released and reached number 1 in the Swiss charts . Plüsch has been known there since they have been giving concerts in Germany too. Plüsch played in 2004 at the Hehre Open Air and the Gurten Festival . They also appeared in 2007 at the Hoch-Ybrig Open Air and again at the Gurten Festival.
After that, the band took a long break, during which some members took care of their professional development. Singer Ritschi released a solo album in 2009. On November 25th 2011 the single 's sucht ne kene so gnau was released and on February 17th 2012 the new album Eile mit Weile was released .
From April 4, 2012 to March 3, 2013 the band was on tour.
