Ingeborg Rotach
Ingeborg Rotach (born May 3, 1930 in Stuttgart ) is a Swiss author .
Life
Ingeborg Rotach grew up in Rapperswil on Lake Zurich and attended the canton school in Zurich , where she graduated with a commercial diploma. After years of wandering at home and abroad, Rotach completed an apprenticeship as a librarian, later she ran a community library. At the same time she wrote articles for radio DRS and for various newspapers and magazines. From 1981 to 1989 she worked for the satirical magazine Nebelspalter . She has been writing books for children and young people since the mid-1980s. In 1988 Rotach was awarded the Swiss Youth Book Prize for her book Lieber Alter Engel .
She lives in Erlenbach , is widowed and has two children.
