Ingeborg von Erlach

Ingeborg von Erlach (* 19th April 1940 as Ingeborg Heuer in Biel ) is a Swiss artist and book illustrator.

Life

Ingeborg von Erlach was born in Biel as the daughter of Hubert Heuer (1901–1978) and Blanche Dickson from Sweden. She is the great-granddaughter of Edouard Heuer , the founder of the TAG Heuer watch manufacturer . Ingeborg von Erlach attended the schools in Biel, the high alpine institute Ftan and the arts and crafts school in Zurich. In 1962 she married the Bernese lawyer Thuringia von Erlach (* 1933). She is the mother of two sons (* 1962, * 1964).

Ingeborg von Erlach illustrates and writes books, paints watercolors and gouache and exhibits her works regularly, mainly in Bern and western Switzerland. In 2010 a large exhibition with gouaches and installations took place in Jegenstorf Castle .

She lives in Bern and Mont-sur-Rolle .
