Civil engineering combine
In the GDR, the civil engineering combine (IHK) was the term used to describe combines (groups) of state- owned companies (VEB) for building construction , usually excluding housing and industrial plant construction (in the Rostock Chamber of Commerce and Industry there was, however, the combined company 2 dealing with housing construction at the Wismar headquarters ) .
