Ingo Clauß (born February 23, 1977 in Georgsmarienhütte , Lower Saxony) is a German art historian and curator at the Weserburg Museum of Modern Art in Bremen.

Clauß comes from near Osnabrück and studied fine arts and German at the University of Osnabrück . Since 2008 he has been a curator in the Weserburg and has curated a. a. the exhibitions Urban Art , Kaboom. Comic in art , Zilla Leutenegger. More than this , Ray Johnson. I like funny stories or lamp! Design icon in the light of art . He was also involved as co-curator in numerous other exhibition projects.

Together with the director and long-time chief curator Peter Friese , Clauß was responsible for the exhibition series Young Collections . From 2014 to 2019, young private collections, as a rule not yet made public, were presented, including the Dominic and Cordula Sohst-Brennenstuhl Collection, the von Kelterborn Collection, the Ivo Wessel Collection, the Christian Kaspar Schwarm Collection and the Florian Peters-Messer Collection.

From 2014 to 2019, Clauß curated the exhibitions of the master class students at the Bremen University of the Arts .
