Ingrid Lotz
Ingrid Lotz (born March 11, 1934 in Malliß as Ingrid Eichmann ) is a German athlete who won the silver medal in the discus throw at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo ( 57.21 m - invalid - 55.41 - invalid - 54.59 - 54.74). She started at these games in a joint German team for the GDR and, together with her husband, the Leipzig hammer thrower Martin Lotz , was the only German couple.
Ingrid Lotz started for the SC DHfK Leipzig and trained with Karl-Heinz Bauersfeld . In her active days she was 1.69 m tall and weighed 71 kg. After her sports career, she became a sports teacher.
