Ingrid Mattern (born December 26, 1964 in Hoyerswerda ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). From 1994 to 2009 she was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life

Ingrid Mattern graduated from high school in Hoyerswerda in 1983. In 1984/85 he studied at the Academy for Political Science and Law in Potsdam / Babelsberg . Due to an early de-registration and a party procedure in the SED, she trained as an electrician at Robotron Hoyerswerda from 1985 to 1987 . Until 1989 she worked there as an employee and worked for the director of youth policy. In 1989/90 she was an employee of the SED district leadership and, from 1990, an employee of the PDS state committee in Saxony. From 1995 to 2002 she studied German , sociology and political science at the TU Dresden with a master's degree .

Ingrid Mattern was a member of the SED from 1983 to 1990 and has been a member of the PDS since 1990. In her party, she was deputy chairwoman in Hoyerswerda from 1991 to 1993, regional manager of the PDS Saxony from 1993 to 1995 , chairwoman of the Lower Silesian Upper Lusatian District Association from 1996 to 1999 and city chairman of the PDS Dresden from 2002 to 2005.

At the municipal level , she was district councilor in the Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia District from 1999 to 2003 and city ​​councilor in Dresden from 2004 to 2009 . In September 2008 she resigned from the Left Party.PDS of the Dresden City Council.

From October 1994 to September 2009 she was a member of the Saxon State Parliament. In the third electoral term (1999 to 2004) she was deputy chairwoman of the Rail Parliamentary Group. Since November 2004 she has acted as deputy chairwoman of the Committee on Economy, Labor and Transport. She also belonged to the Budget and Finance Committee . on.
