Ingrid Raber

Ingrid Raber (born December 14, 1946 in Nordhausen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former Thuringian member of the state parliament.

Life and work

After completing her school education with the Abitur in 1965, she began an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in material procurement. From 1969 to 1972 she attended the engineering school in Schmalkalden and graduated as an engineering economist. She then worked as a research assistant for two years. In 1976/77 she was inventory manager and from 1978 deputy head of labor economics at VEB Fernmeldewerk Nordhausen for twelve years . In 1990 she was the head of HR in the Nordhausen city administration.

Ingrid Raber is married and has two children.

Raber became a member of the Thuringian state parliament in 1990 , from which she left in 1999. She headed the local club of the SPD Nordhausen and was a member of the city council in Nordhausen from 1990 to 1994. In April 2006 she was elected to the board of the “ Flohburg ” development association, of which she is one of the founding members.
