Ingrid Walz

Ingrid Walz (born June 11, 1936 in Stuttgart ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

After attending elementary school and business school, she completed a commercial apprenticeship. Ingrid Walz had been a self-employed gallery owner and owner of an office for art advice since 1984 . She was a co-founder and member of the advisory board of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation. In addition, she was chairwoman of the Association of Fine Artists in Stuttgart for many years and a member of the board of trustees of Landesgirokasse Stuttgart . Walz is married and has a daughter.

Member of the FDP since 1962, Ingrid Walz was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg in 1976 . From 1985 to 1991 she was deputy state chairman of the FDP Baden-Württemberg. From 1984 until her move up to the Bundestag in January 1989, she was a councilor and leader of the FDP parliamentary group in Stuttgart. She was a member of the Bundestag until 1994. She heads the FDP regional committee on economic cooperation.
