Ingrida Inga Valinskienė (born July 8, 1966 in Kybartai ) is a Lithuanian singer, television presenter , voice actress and former politician.

Life

From 1973 to 1981 Ingrida Valinskienė attended the Kristijonas Donelaitis Middle School in Kybartai and from 1981 to 1984 the 22nd Klaipėda Middle School . From 1988 she studied and then completed cultural management at the University of Klaipėda . From 1984 to 1987 Ingrida Valinskienė worked in the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Klaipėda City District Court . Since 1992 she has worked for the TV station LNK . She has been giving concerts in Lithuania since 1988 and has released four CDs.

On October 12, 2008 , Ingrida Valinskienė was elected as a candidate for the newly founded Resurrection Party , which surprisingly took second place in the elections with 15.3 percent, for the 2008 to 2012 election period. Since November 2008 she has been a member of the Seimas , the Lithuanian parliament.

She lives in Vilnius .

family

In 1988 Ingrida Valinskienė married the law student Arūnas Valinskas (* 1966), who became known as a television producer and presenter. He was also a politician, President of the Seimas Parliament.

The family have two adult sons (Arūnas and Šarūnas).
