The three Ingvar stones in Strängnäs domkyrka in Södermanland in Sweden are or were fragments built into the walls of Strängnäs Cathedral . They have the numbers Sö 277, Sö 279 and Sö 281. The ornamentation shows that all three rune stones are probably made by the carver Äskil. The textual interpretation of the Ingvar stones is inconsistent due to the missing parts.

Sö 277

The text reads: ... and Ingeborg had this stone erected in memory of ... will not be among Ingvar's men. According to some researchers, this stone is said to be Ingvar's own stone that was erected by his father and mother. It is probably the lower left part of a very large and impressive rune stone.

Sö 279

The text reads: erected this stone ... Edmund's sons died in Serkland .

Sö 281

The text reads: ... had this monument erected after Ulvs broder who drove with Ingvar to Serkland.

More stones in the cathedral church

There are four more stones (Sö 275, Sö 276, Sö 278 and Sö 280) in the church. Among them is possibly another Ingvarstein with Sö 278.
