The Institute for Medical Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection of the Bundeswehr ( InstMedArbUmwSchBw ) in Berlin was set up in 2003 and was the competence center of the Bundeswehr Medical Service for the scientific processing of questions relevant to military medicine in the areas of occupational medicine , environmental medicine and environmental hygiene . It was dissolved on December 31, 2013 and was temporarily assigned to the branch of the Central Institute of the Medical Service of the Bundeswehr in Kiel .
