InterKoneXiones
InterKoneXiones (IKX) is a social network to promote communication between free radios from Latin America and Europe .
History from 1994
The conferences of the InterKoneXiones network have been held regularly since 1994. The aim is the equal and solidary use of radio producers and radio makers in the North-South -Share be promoted.
2012 in Hanover
The InterKoneXiones took place in Hanover from March 23 to 26, 2012 . The organizers are IKX, Radio Flora , Rosa-Luxemburg Foundation Lower Saxony, ver.di Bildungswerk Lower Saxony, Foundation Human Dignity & Working World and AStA of the University of Hanover Women & Gender.
The main topics in 2012 were under the heading “International Women's Radio Meeting”
- migration
- Gender violence
- Access to communication (media) as a human right ( i.e. for women)
- “Worldwide outrage in the face of the burden of the crisis”.
The "conference served to network" radioactive "women and to exchange views on feminist positions in radio work as well as on the realities of life and the concerns of women in the respective countries. The women's network IKX wants to counter the reporting on the basis of the information given by large press agencies with alternative forms and ways of information and communication - from a feminist perspective. "
