Interamt , its own spelling interamt.de , is a German provider of e-recruiting in the public sector . With around 60,000 job vacancies every year, Interamt is the largest job exchange for the public sector in Germany.

Interamt was operated by the central personnel and service provider Vivento of Deutsche Telekom AG until December 31, 2019 ; DVZ MV GmbH has been the sole owner and operator of Interamt since January 1, 2020. Since July 1, 2019, she has been operating the "Interamt" application in her data center in Schwerin on behalf of Deutsche Telekom AG. DVZ MV is a 100% company owned by the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania; thus Interamt has also become part of the public service.

history

The name Interamt stands for the exchange (Inter) between authorities and offices (Amt). The Interamt brand went into operation in 2008. Interamt has been a public job portal since 2010 and was only used by participating authorities and employees in the first two years. The function of posting jobs internally and then posting them publicly if necessary was retained. Over time, the pure job portal has been further developed, so that today Interamt also operates an applicant management system specially tailored to the public sector.

Services

Interamt offers services from free posting on the job portal to full use of the applicant management functions. The recruiting tool is primarily intended to appeal to the young target group.

In addition to being able to advertise jobs online free of charge, Interamt offers public employers the option of using a paid, customized tool for the entire application process. The authority awarding the positions can choose between various options. In addition, the Interamt tool enables employers to evaluate applicants' data for the future even after the selection process has been completed.
