from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Interclubs 2018/19 is the Belgian team championship in chess.

The champion was the Cercle d'Échecs Fontainois , while the defending champion Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld had to be content with seventh place. The SC Jean Jaurès from Gent and the Club d'échecs de Watermael-Boitsfort had risen from Division 2 last year . While Jean Jaurès achieved relegation, Watermael-Boitsfort had to relegate together with the Schaakkring Brasschaat . L'Echiquier Amaytois moved its headquarters from Amay to the village of Tihange, which belongs to Huy , and the association was renamed L'Echiquier Mosan.
