Maxime Lagarde (born March 16, 1994 in Niort ) is a French chess player .
He won the French individual championship in Chartres in 2019 .
In the French team championship , Lagarde played for the clubs Club de Clichy-Echecs-92 ( 2013/14 and 2014/15 ), Club de Nice Alekhine ( 2017 , 2018 and 2019 ). In Germany he played for SF Deizisau ( 2017/18 , 2018/19 and 2019/20 ).
In 2011 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). He was awarded the title of Grand Master (GM) in 2013.
