Slim Belkhodja

Slim Belkhodja ( Arabic سليم بلخوجة; * November 23, 1962 in Tunis ) is a Tunisian chess grandmaster . Between 1985 and 2001 he played for the French Chess Federation.

He played for Tunisia at six Chess Olympiads : 1982 to 1984 and 2002 to 2008 .

At the FIDE World Cup in 2002 , he failed in the first round to Rafael Vaganian . At the 2005 World Chess Cup , he also failed in the first round to Sergey Tiviakov .

In the German Federal Chess League he played for SC Remagen in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons . In the French top league he played for the Club d'Echecs de Sautron in the Nationale I 2001/02 and in the Top 16 for the Évry Grand Roque from 2003 to 2006 and for the Club de L'Echiquier Chalonnais in the 2008 / 09 . From 2013/14 he played there for the Club d'Echecs Metz Fischer . In Belgium he won the championship with Cercle Royal des Echecs de Liège et Echiquier Liègeois . From 2009 to 2011 he played in the top Belgian league for L'Echiquier Amaytois . He won the Luxembourg championship with De Sprénger Echternach in the seasons 2008/09 , 2010/11 , 2012/13 , 2014/15 , 2015/16 , 2017/18 and 2018/19 .

In 1987 he became International Master , and since 2002 he has held the title of Grand Master .
