The tournament was divided into a preliminary round and a final round. The eight participating teams first play a simple round-robin tournament . The first four played for the title in Poule Haute , the last four in Poule Basse against relegation. The total of the team points (2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat), then the direct comparison and then the number of board points (3 points for a win, 2 points for a Draw, 1 point for a loss, 0 points for a loss without a fight). For the final placement, both the points from the preliminary round and the points from the final round were taken into account.
Game dates
The competitions were held on September 17, October 1 and 22, November 26, December 10, 2017, January 7, February 4 and 25, and March 11 and 25, 2018. The last round was central in Differdange , the others decentralized with the participating associations.
