Tigran Gharamian ( Armenian Տիգրան Ղարամյան ; born July 24, 1984 in Yerevan ) is a French chess master who played for Armenia until 2004 .

Gharamian won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place at the TIPC tournament in Charleroi (2007) and 1-3. Place at the 15th Open "Honor To National Resistance" in Nikea (2007) In August 2018 he won the French national championship in Nîmes .

Since June 2009 he has had the title of Grand Master . He achieved the standards for this in April 2006 at the 25th international tournament in Metz , in August 2007 at the 7th Tournoi des Maîtres in Charleroi and in December 2008 at the 25th Open in Böblingen . All norms were achieved with over-fulfillment.

He was a member of the French team at the 2017 European Championships in Limenas Chersonisou .

In the German Federal Chess League, Gharamian played for SC Remagen from 2008 to 2012 , and has played for SK Schwäbisch Hall since the 2014/15 season . In the French Top 16 or Top 12 , he played in the 2003-04 season for Lille Echiquier du Nord , in the 2011/12 season for L'Echiquier DEAUVILLAIS , in the 2013/14 season for Evry Grand Roque and 2016 for Nice Alekhine . In the Belgian Inter Clubs Gharamian played from 2005 to 2014 for the team of Cercle des Echecs de Charleroi , where he again plays in the season 2016/17. He became Belgian team champion with Charelroi in 2012 and took part with the club in the European Club Cup in Kallithea in 2008 , where he achieved the best individual result on the top board. In the 2014/15 season he played in Belgium for Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld .
