Sawen Andriasjan ( Armenian Զավեն Անդրիասյան , in scientific transliteration Zaven Andriasyan ; born March 11, 1989 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian chess player . The world association FIDE has it under the English transcription Zaven Andriasian.

Andriasjan drew attention to himself as a strong youth player at the end of the 1990s: he was a participant in the European Youth Championship U10 in 1998, and in 2005 he won the European Youth Championship U16 in Herceg Novi . A year later he became vice European champion in the U18 category and in the same year junior world champion in Yerevan. This completely unexpected success for Andriasjan also meant for him the title of grandmaster .

Andriasjan played in the Armenian team championship for various clubs from Yerevan, namely in 2005 and 2006 for the Yerevan chess school , in 2007 and 2008 for FIMA , in 2009 for master MIKA and in 2014 for master Pjunik . He participated in the European Club Cup in 2008 with FIMA and from 2009 to 2011 with MIKA . With the team he reached second place in 2009, in the individual ranking he came third on the first reserve board in 2010. In China he played for Tianjin in 2012 and for Shenzhen Longgang in 2017 .
