Artashes Minassyan (born January 21, 1967 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian grandmaster in chess .

National team
Minassyan took part with the Armenian national team in all nine chess Olympiads from 1992 to 2008 and won them in 2006 and 2008. In 1992, 2002 and 2004 he reached third place with the team. He took part in the team world championship in 1993, 1997 and 2001. With the team he reached third place in 1997 and 2001, in the individual ranking he had the third best result on the fourth board in 1997 and the second best result on the second reserve board in 2001. He also took part in three European team championships (1992, 1997 and 1999), he won them in 1999 with the team and in 1997 came third.

In the Armenian team championship, Minassyan played for MIKA Yerevan in 2005 , for Bank King Yerevan from 2006 to 2009 and for Politekhnik Yerevan in 2014 . He became the Armenian team champion in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He took part in the European Club Cup in 1993 with Dinamo Hayastan , 1995 to 1997 with Yerevan and 2006 to 2008 with Bank King Yerevan . He won with the team in 1995 and achieved the best individual result on the sixth board in 2006 with 6 points from 6 games.
