Arman Paschikjan ( Armenian Արման Փաշիկյան , born July 28, 1987 in Irkutsk ) is an Armenian chess master .

Pashikyan won the 69th Armenian Championship in 2009 and played for Armenia at the 2010 Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk , at the 2010 World Team Championship in Bursa and at the 2009 European Team Championship in Novi Sad .

Paschikjan played in Armenia for the team MIKA Yerevan , with whom he was Armenian team champion in 2008 and 2009 and took part in the European Club Cup four times , in the Chinese team championship with the Beijing Patriots .

Paschikjan won or occupied top places in many tournaments: 2nd place at the 63rd Armenian Championship (2003), 2nd place at the 66th Armenian Championship (2006), 2nd place at the Lake Sevan tournament in Martuni (2006), 1st place Place at the tournament in Gyumri (2008) with an Elo performance of 2743, 1st place at the Lake Sevan tournament in Martuni (2008) with an Elo performance of 2717, 9th place at the Aeroflot Open in Moscow with an Elo performance of 2729, 1st place at the Lake Sevan tournament in Martuni (2009) with an Elo performance of 2789, 1st place at the Lake Sevan tournament in Martuni (2010) with an Elo performance of 2705.

Paschikjan has held the title of International Master since 2004 . He met all the required standards in 2003, namely in March at a Chess Academy tournament in Yerevan , in July at a tournament in Batumi and in September at the Armenian individual championship in Yerevan. The last two norms were also considered GM norms, he fulfilled further GM norms in March 2006 at the Armenian Individual Championship and in November 2006 at the N. Aratovsky Memorial in Saratov , so that in 2007 he was appointed Grand Master .
