The Stift Klosterneuburg winery is an Austrian winery in the Wagram wine-growing region in Lower Austria . It was founded in 1114 and is the oldest winery in Austria .

The winery has been viticulture since the foundation of the monastery in 1114 and today covers an area of ​​108 hectares . The four-story wine cellars are built onto the hill and extend up to 36 meters below the Stiftsplatz. The cellars can be visited on guided tours. Wine tastings and seminars are held in the associated vinotheque.

The vineyards are located in 4 wine-growing communities and three Austrian wine-growing regions

The vineyards have a size of 23 hectares. Grüner Veltliner , Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc are grown
Wiener Mischter Satz , Pinot Blanc , Chardonnay , Gewürztraminer , Gelber Muskateller and Pinot Noir are grown on 25 hectares .
The smallest area with 5 hectares is located here. The Zierfandler and Rotgipfler varieties typical for the thermal baths are planted here.
In the red wine region of the Vienna Basin there is a monopollage Stiftsbreite with 55 ha. The cultivated varieties are St. Laurent , Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt , Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Pinot Noir
