Éric Prié (born March 14, 1962 in Paris ) is a French chess player .
He won the French individual championship in Toulouse in 1995 . He played for France at three Chess Olympiads : 1990 , 1994 and 1996 . He also took part in the European Team Championships (1989 and 1992).
In France he played for the Club de Montpellier Echecs ( 2001/02 to 2009/10 ).
In 1989 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 1995.
