International Pablo Casals Cello Competition was named the 2000 and 2004 in Kronberg and Frankfurt conducted international cello competition . The Pablo Casals Foundation was the sponsor, the cellist Marta Casals Istomin , Pablo Casals ' widow , the patron of the event.

From 2006 the Pablo Casals Competition was a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions .
