Inverno is an Italian thrash metal band from Vicenza that was formed in 2008.
history
The band was formed in the summer of 2008 and consisted of the drummer Davide Cupani, the guitarist and singer Frigo Riccardo, the bassist Marco Burrometo and the guitarist and singer Pier Paolo Projer. After a year, which was mainly spent with local appearances, a first demo appeared under the name Thrashformers . This was followed by other concerts, including as opening act for Paul Di'Anno . In 2011 the debut album Thrashgressive was released in self- publication . In September and October 2011 the band went to the Music City Studio in Montebelluna to record their second album. After the band signed a recording deal with Punishment 18 Records in April 2012 , the self-titled album was released that same year.
style
In his review of the self-titled album, Andreas Schiffmann from musikreviews.de wrote that the band is based on American Thrash Metal in the style of early Megadeth , Nuclear Assault and EvilDead . However, the music quickly becomes monotonous, which is also caused by Riccardo's limited singing. On the album sample , the band also Adolf Hitler .
