Joan Exarch
Joan Exarch , also Johannes ( Bulgarian Йоан Екзарх * around 850 ; † 930 ) was a Bulgarian exarch and writer.
He is considered a representative of the Preslaw literary school . His main work is the Schestodnew , the six diary , in which he compiled Byzantine sources and added representations of Bulgarian conditions. The work, intended as an apology for the history of creation, became an encyclopedic collection of knowledge of its time and culture. His translation work is considered an important linguistic creative achievement.
