Ioana Iacob

Ioana Iacob (born February 24, 1980 in Timișoara ) is a Romanian actress .

Life

The daughter of a doctor and an engineer, Iacob grew up in Timișoara , where she attended a German school and did sports such as skiing and tennis. At the age of 16 she joined the acting group of the Lyceum and so began her passion for the performing arts. Iacob studied acting at the German acting department of the West University of Timişoara and graduated in 2002. She also trained as a theater pedagogue in Cologne.

Since 2001 she has been a permanent member of the German State Theater Timişoara , where she works a. a. with directors such as Radu Nica, Volker Schmidt, Alexandru Dabija, Silviu Purcărete, Alexander Hausvater and Cornelia Chrombholz in various leading and supporting roles.

Iacob had her first television role in 2005 in Andy Fetscher's horror film Bucharest Fleisch , which was co-financed by the Hessischer Rundfunk . In 2008, she was cast in a continuous role in the award-winning television series In the Face of Dominik Graf's crime . Since then, Iacob has regularly played roles in various German film and television series such as Nachtschicht , SOKO Kitzbühel and Alarm for Cobra 11 and shoots for various film and cinema projects.

Iacob lives in Timisoara .
