Andy Fetscher (* 1980 in Munich ) is a German director , cameraman and screenwriter .

Live and act

Andy Fetscher was born in Munich in 1980. After graduating from school, he worked as a freelance photographer and journalist for several German photo agencies . Since 2001 he studied in the camera department at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg . With his short film Bucharest Fisch , Andy Fetscher was given the opportunity to switch to the scenic directing course . In 2007 he finished his directing studies at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy with the full-length feature film Bucharest Meat , which was co-produced by Hessischer Rundfunk and was shown at international film festivals such as B. the Portuguese Fantasporto or the Belgian Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival ran.

In 2011 Andy Fetscher's second feature film Urban Explorer was released , also a horror film like his thesis Bucharest Fleisch , for which he directed, wrote the screenplay and was responsible for the camera. Also Urban Explorer ran at several international film festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival or the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal and brought Andy Fetscher a three awards.

Since then Andy Fetscher has directed several German television formats . He received nominations for directing the youth crime series Binny and the ghost and the crime thriller Tatort - Fear You .
