action

According to the opening credits, “a system of over 25,000 tunnels extends under Berlin . Two thirds of them are already finally sealed. Some areas have not been entered for more than 60 years. "

Four young urban explorers named Denis from the USA , Lucia from Venezuela , Juna from South Korea and Marie from France make an appointment via the Internet in the German capital Berlin to explore the underground relics of the German National Socialist and Stasi together with a local guide called Kris. To explore the past. The aim of the tour through a labyrinth of overgrown tunnels, disused sewer shafts and catacombs are the remains of the legendary driver's bunker , which served as a shelter for Hitler's drivers . Forbidden wall paintings by the Nazis are said to still exist there. The tour guide Kris is seriously injured from a fall from a considerable height. Two of the group members, Marie and Juna, try to get help but never return.

The former East German border soldier Armin finds the tourists who have stayed behind, Lucia, Denis and the now unconscious Kris, promises them help and brings them to his "post". The obviously insane Armin overwhelms the young people there and tortures Lucia. Denis frees her and the two try to escape. While Armin takes Denis prisoner again, tortures and thus finally kills, Lucia is able to reach a subway station, where she asks a passer-by for help. However, Armin appears and shoots him just before he can get help, right in front of the emergency telephone. Lucia escapes into a subway, but Armin, who pretends to be a ticket inspector, forces her to get out and then kills her with a broken neck because his gun is out of ammunition. As it turns out, at that time, Armin also killed Marie and Juna, removed their meat, cooked it and offered Lucia and Denis to eat.

The badly injured Kris is finally able to free himself from his bonds, flee through the sewer system and is found by chance, more dead than alive, by playing children.
