Irénée Lang

Irénée Lang (born August 1, 1841 in Schlettstadt ; † October 13, 1922 there ) was an industrialist and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Lang attended high school in Schlettstadt. He then made extensive trips to Europe. He was a manufacturer of metal fabrics, especially for paper production. He also owned a large nickel-plating facility, especially for wire mesh . He was also active in agriculture.

From 1881 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen 6 ( Schlettstadt ).
