The Ireland Tri-Nation Series 2019/20 was a three-nation tournament that was played from September 15 to 20, 2019 in Ireland in Twenty20 cricket. In addition to the host, teams from the Netherlands and Scotland took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019/20 international cricket season . Ireland was able to prevail in the group ahead of Scotland and the Netherlands.

prehistory

It was the first tour of the season for all three teams. Originally, the first season of EUROT20, a tournament for franchises from the three participating nations, was planned for this date. However, this was canceled shortly before the start for financial reasons and replaced by this clash of the national teams. All three teams are preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019 in the United Arab Emirates .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played each other twice. There were four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result.
