Irina Borowska Musil

Irina Borowska Musil (born January 9, 1931 in Buenos Aires ; † February 25, 2020 in Vienna ) was a prima ballerina of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and prima ballerina of the London Festival Ballet. Her dance partners included u. a. her husband Karl Musil . This marriage had two children: a son, who is also a solo dancer, and a daughter.

Trivia

After a jet of the Austrian Armed Forces crashed on the house of the Musil family in the Vienna Woods in August 1981 (see Saab 105 - Incidents ), the entire family suffered serious, sometimes life-threatening injuries and burns.
