Iris C. de Corbavia

Iris C. de Corbavia (born July 21, 1954 in Split ) is a Croatian writer .

biography

In her hometown, she graduated from high school and music school, and studied Romance and Slavic studies at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Zagreb , and musicology at the Music Academy in Zagreb . She also studied at the University for Foreign Students in Perugia , and graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Zurich with a degree in art and art history.

De Corbavia participated in group exhibitions in Germany, and exhibited independently. She published a number of short literary works; Her first novel Torquata was written after years of researching the family archives and extensive historical data sources. In 1985 she moved with the family to Germany and lives in Düsseldorf .
