Isa Riedl

Isa Riedl (* 1974 in Wolfsberg ) is an Austrian painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

Isa Riedl attended the plastic design department of the Higher Technical Federal Teaching and Research Institute Graz Ortweinschule from 1989 to 1995 and then studied art history at the Karl-Franzens University Graz until 1997 and painting and graphics at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design from 1997 to 2003 Linz with Ursula Hübner and Paul Horn . In 2001/2002 she spent an academic year in Bilbao .

The artist has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since 2005 . In 2007, the artists' association presented works by Isa Riedl and Gerhard Brandl as part of the Linz Art Fair in the premises of the Linz State Gallery at the Upper Austrian State Museum. In 2015 she took part in the start of the art rental initiative. She lives and works in Graz .

Works

Works by the artist are in the public collections of the federal states of Carinthia, Styria and Upper Austria, the provincial capitals Graz and Linz and the Federal Ministry for Education.

Exhibitions

Isa Riedl has also shown her works in group exhibitions in public museums (including Nordico Linz , Forum Stadtpark , Graz, Künstlerhaus Wien ) since 2003, mostly in Austria, and occasionally in Italy (Udine), Germany (Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Weimar) and Luxembourg .
