Gerhard Brandl

Gerhard Brandl (* 1958 in Linz ) is an Austrian gallery owner , painter and graphic artist . From 1990 to 1995 he ran his own gallery in Linz. From 2003 to 2006 he was president of the artists' association MAERZ

Live and act

Brandl studied painting and graphics at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz from 1985 to 1992 . From 1990 to 1995 he ran the temporary gallery B. In 2003 he completed a study visit to London. The artist has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since 1996. He curated several member exhibitions at Galerie März.

Brandl has been presenting his works since 1996 primarily in private and public galleries and museums in Linz and Upper Austria as part of solo and group exhibitions.
