James Isaac Luther (born October 10, 1991 in Gboko , Nigeria ), better known by his stage name Isaac Louté , is a Nigerian - Beninese football player.
Life
Luther was born in Gboko , Benue State and grew up in Lagos with his one year older brother Daniel. Daniel Loute is also a soccer player and played in a team with Isaac until he moved to Gabon .
Football career
In the club
Luther started his career in Gboko with the BCC Lions. In spring 2009, he left his hometown and moved to the Nigerian Premier League to Gateway FC . After only half a year, he left the GFC and moved to league rivals Lobi Stars . This was followed by positions at Akwa United and Enugu Rangers in 2010 . In July 2010 he left his homeland Nigeria and moved to Benin for Soleil de Cotonou FC . He played for Soleil FC for 18 months and was sold to AS Mangasport in Gabon in November 2011 .
In October 2012 he left AS Mangasport and returned to Benin , where he signed for USS Kraké . In April 2013 he completed a trial session with Sharks FC , for whom he signed a contract in May 2013.
International
Due to good performances in Benin, he was appointed to the Benin national football team for the first time in autumn 2010 . There the native Nigerian made his international debut against Rwanda in October 2010. On November 3rd, 2011 he was appointed to Benin for the UEMOA Tournament.
