Isaac Terrazas (born January 23, 1973 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player in the position of defender .

Life

Davino began his professional career at his hometown club América , for which he played from 1991 to 1994 and again from 1995 to 2000 and with which he won the 1992 CONCACAF Champions' Cup . In between he worked in the opening season 1994/95 of the Primera División 'A' on loan for the second division club CD Aguascalientes.

After a stopover at the Freseros de Irapuato , he ended his active career between 2002 and 2005 in the ranks of the Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz .

National team

Terrazas made his debut in the dress of the Mexican national team on December 12, 1997 in a game for the FIFA Confederations Cup 1997 , which was lost to Australia (1: 3).

A year later he was part of the Mexican World Cup squad , but was not used.

The highlight of his national team career was his participation in the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup , which was held in his own country and won with a 4-3 final victory over record world champions Brazil at the Aztec Stadium . Terrazas played in the last ten minutes of the group game against Saudi Arabia (5-1), one half in the semifinals against the USA (1-0) and the last 20 minutes in the final against Brazil, which was also his last international appearance.
