Isaac Tirion

Isaak Tirion (* 1705 in Utrecht , † 1765 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch bookseller and publisher .

He published numerous books, series and magazines. Of particular interest today are his maps , such as the United Netherlands in twelve parts and “Tegenwoordige Staat van alle Volken” (“Present State of All Nations”) in 45 parts. Others were published as atlases . Some of these did not appear until after his death, such as the Atlas van Zeeland in 1760 and were repeatedly published until 1784.
