The Isabell's scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum isabellae ) is a species of scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum ) in the mint family (Lamiaceae).

description

The Isabel dragon's head is a perennial , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of between 30 and 50 centimeters. The distance between the pairs of leaves on the stem is 3 to 4 centimeters. At the top three nodes there are dummy whorls , each consisting of 4 flowers . The crown is 35 to 42 millimeters long.

The flowering period extends from July to August.

The species occurs in China in Yunnan on rocky grass corridors at altitudes of 3000 to 4000 meters.

use

The Isabel scorpionfish is rarely used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens.
