Isabella Ragonese (born May 19, 1981 in Palermo , Italy ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Isabella Ragonese finished her acting studies at the Scuola Teatès di Palermo in 2000 . She then played theater and made her debut as Rosa Napolitano in 2006 in Emanuele Crialese's love drama Golden Door at the side of Charlotte Gainsbourg and Vincenzo Amato . For her two portraits in the two dramas Due vite per caso and La nostra vita , she was awarded the Italian film prize Nastro d'Argento in 2011 . However, she had to share this award with Elena Sofia Ricci and Lunetta Savino , who were each awarded for their performance in men al dente .

Ragonese is in a relationship with Samuel Umberto Romano , the frontman of the band Subsonica .
