Isabelle Caillat

Isabelle Caillat (* 1978 in New York ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

The daughter of a Swiss father and a Haitian mother grew up in Geneva, where she also took her first acting lessons from Claude Delon . In 2001 she moved to New York, where she trained as an actor two years later at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting . After graduation, she attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the Cours Simon in Paris. She then played in various plays and short films. In 2005 she moved back to Geneva; since then she has played in several films at home and abroad.

For her role in the film All That Remains , she received the Swiss Film Prize in 2011 in the “ Best Actress ” category .
