Isabelle Françoise Helene Marie d'Orléans

Isabelle Françoise Helene Marie d'Orléans , (born November 27, 1900 in Paris , † February 12, 1983 in Neuilly-sur-Seine near Paris) was the daughter of Jean d'Orléans, duc de Guise .

Life

Isabelle was the eldest daughter of the French pretender to the throne of the House of Orléans , Jean d'Orléans, and his wife Isabelle d'Orléans .

On September 12, 1923, she married Bruno d'Harcourt , the son of Eugène d'Harcourt and Armande de Pierre de Bernis. The couple had four children: Bernard (1925–1958), Gilone (* 1927), Isabelle (1927–1993) and Monique (* 1929).

Isabel's husband Bruno took part in automobile races as a driver . He had an accident with his Bugatti while training for a race in Casablanca . A few days later, on April 19, 1930, he succumbed to his injuries. After Bruno's death, Isabelle married Pierre Murat (1900–1948) on July 12, 1934. Isabelle died on February 12, 1983 in Neuilly-sur-Seine near Paris at the age of 82.
