Bruno Marie Jean Bernard d'Harcourt (born September 20, 1899 in Vevey , Switzerland , † April 19, 1930 in Casablanca , Morocco ) was a French racing driver .

Life

Bruno d'Harcourt was the youngest son of Eugène d'Harcourt (1859-1918), composer and conductor, and his wife Armande de Pierre de Bernis. Bruno d'Harcourt successfully took part in automobile races as a driver. He had an accident with his Bugatti while training for a race in Casablanca and died three days later, on April 19, 1930, of serious injuries.

On September 12, 1923, Bruno d'Harcourt married in Chesnay Isabelle d'Orléans (1900-1983), eldest daughter of Jean d'Orléans , the French pretender to the throne of the House of Orléans, and his wife Isabelle d'Orléans . The marriage had four children:
